The main challenge in developing Petpal was ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience for managing multiple pet profiles, while integrating real-time notifications for important reminders like medical treatments and grooming. Another significant hurdle was creating a feature that allowed pet owners to prioritize pets on the homepage, while maintaining efficient data synchronization across iOS and Android platforms using Firebase.
